The following claims are authorized under Regulation (EU) No 432/2012 and are supported by the amounts in this product:

• EPA and DHA contribute to normal heart function. The positive effect occurs with a daily intake of 250 mg EPA and DHA.
• DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function. The positive effect occurs with a daily intake of 250 mg DHA.
• DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal vision. The positive effect occurs with a daily intake of 250 mg DHA.
• Vitamin E helps protect cells from oxidative stress.

Why these capsules

With 500 mg DHA per daily dose, this product exceeds the 250 mg threshold above which claims regarding brain function and vision may be used. Our standard capsule with 240 mg DHA falls just below this – that is why these two claims are not listed there.

1,400 mg of omega-3 from 2,060 mg of oil means a concentrate content of around 68%. For comparison: a simple fish oil is at 30%. Two capsules thus replace the amount for which you would otherwise have to take four to five.

Recommended intake

Take 2 capsules daily with 250 ml of water. The stated recommended daily intake must not be exceeded.

What does wild-caught mean?
The oil comes from wild-caught fish, not from aquaculture.

Why the triglyceride form?
It is the form in which omega-3 naturally occurs in fish. Cheaper concentrates are often offered as ethyl esters.
